Students, Parents/Guardians,
We have very important information regarding the Hearts and Roses Chamber Concert and the rehearsals leading up to it. Due to the Winter Storm, we have decided to push back our concert to Feb 28, 2021. We feel it is best the kids have the complete 6 weeks to work on their pieces with our coaches.
The Hearts and Roses Concert will be formatted differently this year to accommodate COVID precautions. Each Chamber group will be performing by itself in a 45-minute time slot. This will allow sufficient time for set-up, recording, and tear down before the next group comes. You are only required to come for your group's performance time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before to prepare your instrument; we want to be as streamline as possible. Once your group is finished performing, you are free to go. These are the assigned concert times for our groups.
3:00- String Quartet (Grace, Ben, George, Ava)
3:45- Piano Trio (Grace, Dayne, Vikram)
4:30- Cello Trio (Emmitt, Nayan, Kai)
Parents are welcome to sit in the sanctuary while their child is playing. We will be taking temperatures at the door, and ask that everyone continue to wear masks and space out in the sanctuary.
